Expert Panel
The Expert Panel has provided the opportunity for collaboration
and partnership. Ethnic physician organization leaders
are the core of the Expert Panel. Joining them have been
ethnic physician leaders from health plans and others
with public health expertise and expertise in the area
of diabetes management. The panel has also provided the
opportunity for collaboration with community-based organizations
and the sharing of both diverse and often similar perspectives
on reducing health disparities and addressing the issue
of type 2 diabetes in communities of color.
